Commissioner Samuel IngsCommissioner Samuel Ings is a member of the Orlando City Council in Florida, representing District 6. As a leader in law enforcement, Commissioner Ings was nominated and invited to study at The FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. He excelled in this rigorous curriculum of graduate courses, studying leadership development, behavioral science,forensic science, and communication. Commissioner Ings became the first African-American officer from the Orlando Police Department to graduate from The FBI National Academy in the 171st session for Global Law Enforcement Executives. Signifying his hands-on and very approachable nature, Commissioner Ings embraces the residents of his community, while wearing his signature Red Tie. “Commissioner Ings’ leadership exceeds the expectations of his community.
